Seems The Weeknd Fresno is feeling confident the world will be ready for a gigantic concert discussion by this time next-door year. In the first major global tour announced by anyone for 2022, the R&B star has unveiled a new itinerary for his Fresno After Hours Tour, originally scheduled for 2020 later postponed along with the pandemic to this year. It includes a rescheduled date at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena, now set for Jan. 27, 2022. That put-on was originally planned for last summer after that postponed to this June.
The Weeknd has other 39 shows to the supplementary After Hours schedule, which is scheduled to initiation Jan. 14, 2022, in Vancouver and run through Nov. 16, 2022, in London. For previously announced shows, existing tickets will be lucky and new tickets will go on sale today. For newly further shows and markets, tickets will become open at 10 a.m. Monday local time.
This is a high-profile stretch for the singer-songwriter born Abel Tesfaye in Toronto: He’ll measure the halftime perform at Sunday’s Super Bowl, following the Friday liberty of a career hits hoard titled “The Highlights.” Meanwhile, his track “Blinding Lights” continues its commanding reign, logging yet another week in the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100. The single has now spent 47 weeks in the Top 10, an all-time chart record.
